    The UK Science Acadamy has confirmed that it will take part in a review of U.N. climate study intended to restore trust after a major report was found to have exaggerated evidence for global warming (eg. the pace of Himalayan glaciers melting, and how much of the Netherlands is below sea level).  These errors were first published in a lengthy 2007 report which has since been cited in more than 10,000 scientific papers.
